Yes. The gaiter is designed to fit comfortably under any ski or snowboard helmet without adding bulk. It also works seamlessly with Ski Tunes — just pull the gaiter up over your neck and lower face, and your Ski Tunes sit on top of your head under the helmet as usual.

Machine wash cold, gentle detergent, no fabric softener. Air dry only—don't put it in the dryer. Keeps the merino soft and prevents shrinking.

Absolutely. Merino wool is one of the best natural insulators, and the Tencel adds wind resistance. This gaiter is warm enough for below-freezing temps but breathable enough that you won't overheat on sunny spring days. It self-regulates based on your body temperature.

No. The fabric is breathable enough that your exhaled air escapes rather than being trapped against your face. This is a huge advantage over cheap synthetic gaiters, which suffocate you and fog your goggles immediately.
