We made everything in it to get through seasons of cold, sweat and snow, with a helmet pulled on over it every run.
The outer layer is a brushed stretch fabric that blocks wind and sheds light snow instead of soaking it up. It covers your ears completely, which is where most of the warmth comes from, and it stretches to fit any head, small or large.
Between each speaker and your ear sits a soft pad. Nothing hard ever rests against your head, your helmet goes on the way it always has, and the pad is thin enough to cushion the driver without muffling what you're listening to.
Two 30 mm drivers rest over your ears rather than inside them, roughly three times the width of an AirPod's. A driver that size, sitting right over the ear, is where the sound gets its body. A mic handles calls, the drivers lift out for washing, and the buttons sit at the back.
